Trash Pickup Schedule
Garbage service is provided twice weekly to residents on Tuesdays and Fridays in Morgan’s Landing.
Garbage should be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the scheduled collection day. Crews will not grab loose garbage; everything must be bagged. Garbage should not be stored in boxes or supermarket bags. Bags should be securely tied to prevent spillage and free of sharp objects that could cause injury to collection crews.
Bags should not weigh in excess of 40 pounds to prevent breakage and scattering of garbage. If garbage exceeds 40 pounds, it will be left for the heavy trash crew.
Yard debris, which includes grass clippings, leaves, bushes, and tree trimmings, is not considered as household garbage. These items may be placed at the curb for heavy trash pickup or delivered to our recycling center.
Heavy Trash Pickup
Heavy trash includes:
- Any items not classified as household garbage
- Brush and yard waste
- Building debris
- Discarded appliances
- Tires – small car tires only (limit 2)
